'Me & My Fargen' Contest Winners Announced!

Fargen Amplification announced today the three winners of its “Me and My Fargen” contest, which it ran over the last two months and concluded at Summer NAMM.

The company picked three random entries from the dozens of Fargen customers who submitted photos of themselves posing with their Fargen Amps. The winners are Peter Van Dorst with his Mighty Plex, Eric Wicks with his Custom Shop Epic 30 and Jim Kury with his Blackbird 30.

Each winner will receive a Sonic Edge J&J Overdrive pedal, which is first shipping later this June, as well as a Tumbleweed pedal which Sonic Edge expects to ship this September. Fargen Amps and Sonic Edge are demonstrating both pedals this week at Summer NAMM, booth 1449.

“Thanks to all of our loyal customers who entered the ‘Me and My Fargen’ contest. We truly enjoy the creative nature put into the photos that were submitted, and we look forward seeing your videos in the future”, said Ben Fargen, founder.

Ben founded Fargen Amplification in 1998, which has become a thriving boutique company that ships custom-built amplifiers to discerning players on four continents. Ben has developed a reputation as one of the top engineers and visionaries in the amplifier space. He also provides world tour and studio amp support to many of the world’s most celebrated guitarists including Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and in fact, designed Steve’s Legacy II amplifier that was launched by Carvin in January 2009. In addition, Ben recently launched Sonic Edge in March 2010, to focus on manufacturing best-in-class guitar and bass effects pedals.
